Internship - Amsterdam

Internship available from the mid of September and/or the beginning of October (minimum period of 4 months, maximum period of 6 months).

Studioschaeffer is a medium sized office (+/-25 people) with the focus on renovation projects with a modern touch of Dutch architecture.

An internship in our office is a learning experience in which we add a great variety of learning-moments.

For example: every Friday, we have a meeting with the whole office to discuss the different projects that are being build, the drawing systems and several office-related items. Sometimes we invite external speakers on our lunches.

You will get a mentor who’s defining your learning goals and evaluates them with you.

As an intern at our office, you will work mainly on renovation projects of dwellings and appartment buildings. You’ll do this under supervision of one of our project-architects. 

The goal for the internship is that you will be able to do all the drawing as well as some designing for a project at the end of the internship. We will teach you Revit in the first weeks of the internship. After learning the basic principles of Revit, you will work on/or architectural drawings or/on visualisations and presentation techniques.

In our office, the teamspirit is very important. That’s why we arrange drinks together at Friday afternoon, we try to have dinner with the office at least two times per year, and we have a dayly lunch together.
